Daedalus ADA Wallet

The Daedalus wallet is a secure full-node wallet built by Input Output – IOHK.

The Daedalus wallet downloads a copy of the entire Cardano blockchain and validates each transaction.  Most other cryptocurrency wallets referred to as “light wallets” do no download the entire chain and are instead transactional.

Daedalus is the choice wallet for Cardano ADA staking.
